Sometimes I think I'm so clever with my silly, punny post titles....haha!
I'm referring to the big reveal of the WIP I sneak peeked to you on Friday.
Remember this?
Well, I actually have 2 paintings to share with you.....
Hence the title....
Okay, so maybe what I think is clever is only slightly amusing.....
Let me distract you with some art so it won't matter how lame my sense of humor is :)
But before I do, let me tell you how these pieces came about.
My super sweet and lovely Bloggy Buddy Carmen and I are doing an art trade. Her only criteria was that it should have a crow in it (her fave) and feature some words of wisdom to ponder and nod one's head in agreement to....
This is the above girly all finished.
It is inspired by this Roald Dahl quote:
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
I decided to do 2 at one time, using the same criteria, the same color palette....like sisters born of the same spark.
I want Carmen to pick her favorite. The other will then be put in my Etsy Store.
I'll let you know which one she chooses :)
Here's the second.....
Her crow guide brings her the key to unlock her heart and to rediscover all the wonders within :)
I think I know which one she'll pick....I'm curious to see if I'm right...heehee! Which would you choose?
UPDATE
***Carmen chose "Watch with Glittering Eyes" and "Within You" is now SOLD Thank You, Lisa! ***
Oh, and I'd like to mention another Giveaway to you, Dear Readers, offered by Jenn at Broomsticks and Lace. She is part gypsy, part fairy princess and part witchy-poo all rolled into the most delightful being!
But, hurry, she announces the winner this Sunday!

Hope your days are full of everyday magic...and that the transitioning Seasons are revealing their beauty to you.
Love you guys,
Cameron

Carmen is totally going to love them :-D I would pick the first one i think!! but both are amazing!!
Ooohhh! So pretty, both wonderful but i would choose the first, i like straight on faces better.... Not sure why i guess cuz they're easier to paint for me. Both quotes are wonderful as well! Oh, i meant to say.... i put you in my latest treasury if you get on etsy... Hope you like it!
~i don't think i would be able to choose...both are beautiful and their words empowering yet unique they both are...a different vibe from each...such a treat she will be receiving!!! much love light and blessings~
Gorgeous Cam! I love PUNNY post titles...maybe it's because I'm corny =) These are such beautiful pieces...If I had to choose I would pick the one with the key because the words speak to me - both paintings are wonderful!
I love them both! They are so magical. But I must say the second one is my favorite. :) Wonderful profile!
Those are both very beautiful paintings, she is very lucky to receiving one and I bet it be a very hard choice, if I was choosing I would go with the second one I think, but like I said such a hard choice they are both so beautiful!!!!
They're both beautiful and so are the quotes--If I had to choose--I'd take both :)
But it would be #2
OMGOSH! They are both gorgeous :)
I love them both equally, I dont think I could make up my mind.
I am anxious to see which one Carmen chooses.
Amazing art Cam :) !!!
Hugs,
~Diane
I would definitely pick the second one ;)
PS: I've finally got around to Carla's sketching. My cats wouldn't sit still while I drew them which was exactly the point! Posting later....
They are totaly amazing both of them... can´t get my eyes off :-) I I could choose, I would take the second one too. the crow with the holding key and her heart ready to unlock :-)
Those are both beautiful pieces. Love the quotes too. Carmen is a lucky gal!

I would have such a hard time picking one or the other. I love how you said "sisters born of the same spark". Lovely paintings and words.
Those are both truly fantastic! I love them both and I would choose them both...but that wouldn't be fair. haha! And I agree, punny titles always make me giggle too. I sometimes feel I am far more clever than the world recognizes. hehe! Or perhaps, I just think I'm funnier than I am. :D
Anyway....love, love, love your art girls and would be happy to trade with you, if and when you are in need of another trade. :)
P.S. I agree, blog people are awesomeness.
Me again! I left an award for you on my blog. Check it out! :)
Both of these are gorgeous, I'm not sure I'd be able to choose. The crows, especially, look amazing.
Well I don't know HOW she chose, I'm bettin she threw dice ... both are wonderful
You did great Cameron! I heart the second one the most because of that pretty crackly heart with the keyhole. Makes me want to open it.
Have a great weekend!!!!!
They are both amazing! Love the crows in both but the one with the key is especially awesome!
Both are just stunning Cam, I'm not at all surprised the sister to mine is gone already. And yes, I feel a lucky, lucky girl :D
Thinking cap on for yours now. Hmmm.
Shucks, I am behind on my blogs or I would have snatched up the other one myself tee hee. These are really VERY beautiful Cam. That quote has got to be one of the loveliest things I have ever heard. I am going to put that down in my BOS. Thanks for mentioning the giveaway! And for that description of me haha. I laughed out loud when I read it. I love it! I will have to share that with my friends and see what they think, I think it sounds about right ;)
Cameron, these are fantastic! When do I get to trade? :)
Oh my gosh Cam! Both are so beautiful I would not be able to choose. I adore ravens!

Love your pics and came back for another glance. And yes, the word trade did cross my lips...well fingers. :) If you are up to it and when you have time, maybe we could come up with a plan. My daughter will be in town, so I may be busy for a couple weeks, but perhaps after that? :)
I've just popped over from Carmen's blog - I am absolutely stunned by the artwork you created for her. It is wonderful!
I know this is an old post, but I wanted to say that All Withing touches all kinds of places inside me. Precious...
