Intentions Reaffirmed

Hello Everyone!

Thank you so much for visiting with me and voicing your support regarding last post's fundraiser for M & L Hockman Ranch....
I love animals and am happy that my art may able to help some in need.  "Ray of Light" is still looking for a home with 100% of the proceeds going to the Ranch.  You can view the listing HERE.

So, you remember I spoke of my Word of the Year, Intuition, a few posts ago, right?  Well, I've really embraced this whole concept. I've been reading about what words others have chosen and their reasons....and then an idea formed!

What if we had something we could have around us to gently remind us of our word?  Sure, journals are fantastic....but you have to go open them......large art pieces are incredible, but hard to bring into a cubicle or magnet to the fridge.
I wanted something not only pleasing to the eye, but a way to reconnect with that focus we wish to hold throughout the year.  Something with a bit of sparkle to invite casual glances, and a lightness to keep thoughts free from feeling guilt. Even having a place to write an inspirational thought or two.....

This is what I've created, so far :)

"Bloom"
Real, old dictionary entry.  Space to add your own inspirations :)

"Love"
Pretty heart beads and a bit of gypsy flair :)

These are available in my Shop now....

I planned on having many more finished, but with my trying to get items researched and listed in the Vintage Shop, in addition to regular "mom" duties, I should be happy I have these done :)
Hope you like them!

If any of you have a word request, just leave me a comment with your email address and we can discuss the details.  Thank you again for giving me a place where dreams come true and friends cheer you on!  Blogland is an amzing place...made so by the people in it!  Thank you!

Follow your heart today,
Cam

....and the Winner is....

Hello everyone!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend!  So many lights in the neighborhood went up.  We made some hot chocolate and drove around to appreciate them.

I had this bright idea to make painted fabric ornaments.  I learned how to sew fabric onto watercolor paper back in the post....and did the same thing, just smaller.

They don't have that "wow" factor I was hoping for, but they are cute :)  Hey, can you see me up there in the reflection of the ball?  Sneaky little self portrait....hehe!

Anyhoo. on to the real reason for this post.....
I thought it fitting to put all interested parties names into a....what else? But a stocking, of course :)

I reached in and mixed those pieces of paper for a good minute....

...then pulled out a name!

Hooray!  Congrats to Stacy from MagicLoveCrow!!
I will email you your Promo Code!

And a huge thanks and hug to all of you....without your support, I'm not sure where I'd be!  Probably still wondering if I could ever be an artist one day....

Love you guys,
Cam

Claying in the Snow

Okay, maybe I'm trying too hard with that title....haha!
I'm not actually in snow, but am making snowy things out of clay :)

I was hoping to do a big reveal of these snow gents during this post, too....but the painting is slow going.

So, another post then....

But, there is still fun to be had!  I have these fun snowy claythings to share with you.

Ornaments :)

I love the snow glitter crystals on their noses.

It's finally cooled down here....so painting these guys in my warm jammies on a gray, windy day has just been perfect!

I tried some Woodland Critter ornaments, too.

Paperclay gives you all the lovely plastery look of heavy duty clay, but dries light as styrofoam.  It is such neat stuff.

They are up for grabs.  I thought grouping them as sets would be a nice way to offer them :)

It's a 3 day weekend here in the States, I just wanted to be sure I got a post in before I was MIA for 4 days or so....haha!

Hot chocolate hugs and candy cane kisses,
Cameron
