Huzzah!

I promised you all some Renaissance Faire pictures a bit ago...I bet you thought I forgot...or, perhaps, were just hoping I did...haha!

Well, since the week is passing quickly yet again...and I have no new art to share...

You get to enjoy ( or be forced to gaze upon) some of the highlights of this year's Faire :)
I'll keep my descriptions brief!  Haha!

My Darling Maggie (right) and her Cousin both went as pirates.

Mags was Captain Snaggletooth you might just barely see that just-about-to fall-out tooth sticking out over her lip.

....in the stockade....though still undeterred from thinking about her next naughty deed :)

My Father Dad...

...he'll forgive her anything.

There were green dragons perched on shoulders....

...and fairies....which is new.  They walked around very slowly and interacted with the children.  The actors would pretend nothing was there and ask us what we were all staring or laughing at.

This Autumn Fairy seemed to be just as enamored with my nephew as he was of her.....

Maggie and me caught taking a cuddle break.

...And just for Joyce....a better pic of me...though not by much....haha!

Take heed....there are always Punks that show up to events like this...
Steampunks, that is!

It was a shame my Mom couldn't go this year.   She put together a great Steampunk costume this year, but hasn't gotten to wear it yet.

But fret not, I'll definately show you more pics next year! Lucky you....haha!!

Hugs,
Cameron

You look beautiful! And so does little Maggie. Oh gosh the Autumn fairy and your nephew are the cutest thing ever!

I love these pictures of your Renaissance fairs. We just don't have things like this around here. I can only imagine what the shop stalls are like. SWOOOON!

Oh my gosh what a great posting! I LoVe(!!) the Renn. Faire ~ we haven't been for a few years but it's always so much fun. I love that they've added pirates to it and now Steampunk ~ there really is something for everyone.

oh my, we are so different here. I loath the Ren faire and my fam is basically forcing me to go this year. However, fairies? I have never seen them there! That is pretty cool! Their makeup rocked! And steampunk? Now, that said, I am so happy to see you all dressed up and we always want to see pics of you. Lots of pics of you!!!

It looks like you had a fab time and that is awesome sauce! :D

What beautiful and naughty looking pirates! and the the fairies are so pretty. Dad, very handsome, of course. Punks look great anywhere; there is something about the new and the old coming together that I find lovely. I'm a bit jealous of your adventure ;-)

And you have something at my blog: http://pagan-culture.blogspot.com/2012/05/crow-envy-and-lion.html

Love steampunk... mmm should have choose that as my super hero costume come to think of it ;) Hey you got a mention over at Magaly's blog girl, it's sweet!

Hey Cameron, I came across your blog via "Pagan Culture" and loved these pictures. Back in my home country Austria (I am currently staying in the States) we do have medieval times festivals located at the castles around my town, but I have never been to a renaissance fair. I really love the Fairies :D Your hat is gorgeous!

Looks like fun...you could create about a dozen paintings from your pictures!

I love the picture of you and the one of you and Maggie...so pretty...so sweet. : )

What a fun day out, all so colourful. No wonder there are no paintings done here lol, who can blame you. Steampunk what a great way to dress up. I have a fancy dress party to go to at the end of the month, the theme is not steampunk but I am going to turn it into that.
