Anyway, I covered a composition book in scrapbook paper (which anyone who knows me, can attest to the fact that I have enough to open my own store!) and embellished with one of my art prints, glitter and a cute ribbon bookmark. The whole point of opening the shop on Artfire was to have a presence that could not only showcase my art, but give me a way to potentially make a little money from the crafts I enjoy, as well.....oh, did I forget to mention I was going to use things I already have on hand to make these crafts!
That's the tricky and exciting part. It does make it even that much more satisfying to finish a project knowing that all this stuff I have at my disposal (and have already paid for) is actually being used to create something new and wonderful! The tricky part is getting other people to want to own them. Whether they are stored separately, or all assembled, they're still being stored.....
Ah, well....it's not like I'm gonna stop making things, so it's nice to have a pretty place to display them online while I squirrel them away here!
Hope you enjoy the pics, as well. Have a great weekend and I'll meet you back here in February!
