Cheeky!

Hello my Sweethearts!

I wanted to give you all a giant hug and thank you for all the kind words about my coffee cozies.....and for the wonderful support you have shown me and my humble endeavors!  I always get so excited to see messages in my Inbox!  I love it when you come by :)

Today I was lucky enough to make it to another free class!  The wonderful Manon hosted this time around and showed us how she draws her little girlies...

She was demonstrating her girls in markers and in pastels.....
I don't have markers....so I opted for Prismacolor Pencils for the first one, instead.
I just love the cheeks on her drawings...so full...and so pink....haha!
Not something I'm used to doing....
So, again, it was a great exercise in going with the flow :)

I dug out my chalk pastels for this next one.
I forgot how much I really enjoy the soft way these blend....almost forcing you to relinquish control :)

So very fun!
If you want to try these little dolls, too....the recording is here.
Info about future classes is on Amy's site here :)

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Relinquish control and go with the flow.....be cheeky....haha!
Biggest of big hugs,
Cam

Thank you for your sweet comment, I found your blog through it. Love your girls. Isn't it funny how the first one seemed like a teenager to me, little childish but wants to look adult :) and the other one is older :)
Great shading with prismas, I know it's not easy to acomplish.
Now off to your older posts:)

Ah, I love their fat little cheeks! So cute! <3 I'm a sucker for chubby cheeks and large amounts of blush. :) I also love the curls on the blonde girl's hair!

Hi Cam! Oh how I love the second one! The colors, the squiggles on her clothes and the twirlies in her hair and the details in her eyes!

The first one is impressive too because of the result you got with the pencils. My color pencil drawing looks so scratchy and unblended so I never use them any more.

Thanks for your sweet comment on my Flora Bowley post!

These are too cute - I especially like the second one with her curly blond hair. Isn't it wonderful that people post free classes for us to learn!
