Two Little Cards sitting on a Blog

Hello Everyone!

I'm just popping in with a couple completed ACEOs to share with you :)

A ladybug tries to get the perfect view of the wildflower filled meadow below :)

This is "The Cutest Mushroom in the Meadow".  Done with watercolors, ink and finished off with oil pastel and gel pen.  I really like the waxy texture on top of the watercolor paper.

...and then, there is this one.....
"Maiden of the Seas" done with watercolor, ink and Prismacolor pencils.  She is embellished with glitter and real shells. I wanted to try some swirling green hair....who better to have that kind of 'do than a mermaid...haha!

I mounted them with clear photo corners onto cardstock, then added matts to enhance them further :)

Just fun little art pieces to do when I'm in between big projects.  They are both in my shop, if you'd like to see more pictures.

Thanks for checking back in with me here....if you need more lovely art projects to ogle...please visit the creative endeavors of everyone at Paint Party Friday!

Have the bestest of weekends!
Big hugs,
Cam

Wow. You changed up your blog! It looks wonderful!! Love the kitty with the two color eyes at the top. These ACEOs are great. Love the mushroom and the lady bug. And the green haired maiden is quite unusual.
She reminds me of someone from one of The Pirates of The Caribbean movies.
Great stuff you're doing Missy!!

So beautiful! Love the hair. I just started doing ATC's and find them addictive. :) But it's also hard for me to paint on such a small scale. Especially the face. :)
